Hey guys… been a while lmao.

Sorry for the lack of uploads and updates over the last month and a half. Like I said last time, I’ve officially started college now and I’ve been pretty busy with the work. I’ve also went through another episode where I didn’t do anything for like a week and now behind on work and grades, so I’ve been working on trying to catch back up on my grades and assignments. Which I took this as a lesson that, this ain’t high school and I have to turn in my work on time or I fail. 

But I know you guys probably don’t care about that. So let me discuss whats the future right now for the rest of this year. 

I do plan on still making animations and videos this year. They are just going to take longer to make then usual. A lot of the animations I wanted to make either have to slow down on production, or just scrapped completely.  As of right now I’m working on only 1 big animation project and thats Inside The Mind of Genius. What I’ll probably upload more of is more short form videos for TikTok and YouTube shorts that don’t take that much effort for so I can still try and grow as a creator, while also posting my storytime/talking videos on my second channel. 

This ain’t really all that I want to do. But it’s the best situation I can do with what I have. I am also still working on EggsWithNuts. But this will probably be the last time (at least for a while) that I do talk about EggsWithNuts as I don’t want to talk about this project so much, just for nothing to come out of it.

The schedule I have for myself right now is to upload Inside The Mind of Genius right the end of September - beginning of October, followed by the “Meet Bob” animation for this year. This would be in between of some random one off shorts and other art works, most likely just showing off stuff I have done for class.

Hey everyone. Matt here.

I haven’t posted a news update in awhile, with the last one being

SO UH, this one is going to be more positive, because I’m in a good mood. 

First off. WOAH! So much has happened. I recently started making shorts form content on both YouTube and TikTok since it takes a while for me to make more longer in detail videos. And HOLY CRAP, Those shorts are popular!! Especially on YouTube, I have now reached 100 subscribers. That is so cool. Thank you!!!

And NEWGROUNDS!! I was in a art collab and that was super cool to be part of. Being with other artist and seeing different styles. It was so cool. I’ve also gained some more followers on Newgrounds, WHICH IS ALSO REALLY COOL! THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING.  What’s also cool is that one of my animations is part of the homepage ON Newgrounds. That was such a cool thing to wake up and see. 

My art stuff is getting more popular. This is honestly my dream to make art and animations and I’m so glad that its growing and It’s honestly making me happy. Thank you everyone.

Now, here’s some other updates.

I start college in 2 weeks. Classes start in 3 weeks, but since I’m part of my college’s marching band, I move in a week early. Once I start college, I know work on videos and comics is going to be really draining on me. But I’m hoping to still make animations.

That’s why I am announcing that, at least right now for the month of August, I won’t be making anymore comics. This is so I can have more time focusing on animations and not having to worry about making a comic. I do like making comics, but I wanted to focus on what is getting more popular, which is the short animations. 

The series I am working, EggsWithNuts, is still being worked on by me. I’ve actually went and rebooted the characters behind the scenes into original characters. The ones I was using the comics and some of the animations was just me and my friends. But after thinking and talking to my friends about it. I’ve decided that I’m not really comfortable having my friends online in a series I make if they don’t want to do it. Especially if it’s later on in life and they don’t want themselves part of my animations anymore, or if me and a friend stops being friends. I don’t want to have to worry about that, so I have been working on original characters, some I have been using in these shorts

I’ve also been working on some “storytime” videos. I don’t know if they are storytime or not. The first one I am talking about is growing up with Minecraft, and another one being growing up with FNAF. Those are the ones I am currently working on as of right now.

So what could you expect from me in the next coming months.

Here are some plans I have. Note that these could change once college starts, and videos not being done in time. But here is a rough idea of what I would want to happen.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to let you guys know how I am right now, and how things are going with video production, etc.

First, I want to bring up comics right quick. These are probably one of my favorite things to do. I've always loved making comics. For the EGGSWITHNUTS comic series, I have comics planned for every Sunday all the way up til September, with more to come the rest of the year. I do want to do other comic series with EGGSWITHNUTS as well. I just haven't decided what I want to do yet. So right now, another comic series is in the backdrops right now. But for sure there will be EGGSWITHNUTS Comics every Sunday til the end of this year, and for sure til September!

Speaking of EggsWithNuts, there's going to be a new animation of EggsWithNuts coming tomorrow (or Tuesday)! It's not the first "episode" yet (more on that in a bit), but it is a funny animation I think you guys will enjoy.

Hostile Game Show and "GUESS WHAT" Animations are also still in production as well. I do not have a release date for them as of right now, and I won't make a release date for them til I know for sure I can make it. I am hoping for them both to release at the end of this month. But no promises.

Now, the EggsWithNuts episodes. I have one in production right now, the pilot episode called "Movie Night". It's going to take a while to animate, and I'm looking at it as a possible late September, or even early October release date. I got 5 other episodes of EggWithNuts in the writing stage right now. None of which even has been started on, so it's hard to say when they would be release. What I can say about the EggsWithNuts series is that at least 1-2 episodes will be release this year, with the rest being released next year. 

I am also planning on another mini series called "Meet Bob." Its a rehased idea I've had, and actual made an animation for when I was younger, and I'm wanting to redo it and expand on it. I'm looking forward to do that, but only time will tell.

I'm planning on doing videos on my second channel as well. More like stories/commentaries with little effort and quick to make. Just so I am still able to make content.

Now to more personal stuff.

I have a schedule planned out for me now til I start college for when I work on videos. Monday-Friday are going to be my most busiest days working on animations and videos for both KingMatt and MattIsLame. Saturday and Sunday, while still working on videos and comics, are more off days, that way I'm not so burnt out. Especially with my mental health getting worse, I feel like it's important to have days where I really just focus on me more.

I start college very soon. Less than a month now. I still got to do some finalizing on some stuff before I move in, but I know once I start college, I won't be able to work as much on videos, mainly animations, as I am right now. So during that time, expect more videos being live actions and videos on MattIsLame. 

I wanted to just give out this quick update, as I know it hasn't been THAT long since the last KMN, but I just wanted to let you guys know what is happening this week!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give an update about animation/art progress coming along with this edition of KMN.

Just letting you guys a heads up, I'm not really doing well mentally, but I'm not really sure why?

I don't really feel too happy at the moment. I don't want to say depressed, but maybe? Last week I had a friend of mine come up to where I live now to stay a couple of days. Now that he's gone, I kind of feel lonely. I'm not able to go out or anything like that, mainly cause I have no way of transportation. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me. I'm just trying to explain how I feel.

I'm still busy working on animations, with there being one tomorrow uploaded on Tik Tok and YouTube, I don't think I would be able to upload it here since its going to be in portrait form so I'm sorry.

I was late uploading a comic this past Sunday and missed the deadline, but to make up for it, I'll be uploading a comic tomorrow as well on Tumblr.

I'm still working on the Movie Night video. I've gotten all the character designs worked out, we got some voice lines recorded and I'm currently working on animation for some scenes. Like I said in the last KMN, I don't have a release date for the cartoon right now, but Im hoping for an August release at the very least. I'm still needing to get 2 (or at the very least 1 who can play 2) voices for the cartoon. It's just more hard to do so with no budget, with the current voice actors just being my friends helping me out.

I'm also thinking about wanting to do art work for other people as well. That's something I would like to do on here, or really anywhere so I can make some money and put the money into more art productions, and into college. But I don't think I will be able to right now since I don't think imo I have good portfolio. Maybe I will sign up for something, I don't know yet. I don't know if it's a good idea.

I know I don't really have an audience right now so I really just talk to no one, but either way. I feel bad when I don't release stuff on time and not posting a lot in general. So I'm sorry. Hopefully this month and some of next month before I do leave for college, I can post as much art and animations as I can to make sure everyone is happy!

This is the first time I'm making a news post, I thought it would be cool to call it KMN (KingMattNews).

I wanted to post an update on Newgrounds about everything I'm going to be doing for July, since I'm really excited for it all.

I've wrote a script for an EggsWithNuts cartoon that im really excited to work on. Im right now in the process of putting together an storyboard animatic of the episode, with music and voice overs. I'm still looking for 2 voices (maybe just 1) for one of the roles but i should be solid with it.

I'm also working on 2 other side animations at the same time as well. One is a TikTok and YT Shorts animation, and the other is a remake of a old animation I did about 3 years ago called Hostile Game Show, which the audio is from one of my favorite content creators, lolik. The tiktok video should be done around Wednesday/Thursday of this week, and the Hostile Game Show should be done around end of next week.

Im also uploading another Cooking With Draven episode, which will also be the final episode, over on my youtube channel. It's not an animation, but I still think it's really funny.

I also have been posting comics on Tumblr! If you are interested in checking out my comics, or want more look in progress of my animations, then check out my tumblr page.

I don't have a set end date for the EggsWithNuts cartoon, but it should be done around the end of July, beginning of August. Which in August starts production of videos slowing down again since I'll be starting college. Ill still be making videos and comics, but probably more slow of a release due to me being busy with school. That's why i'm wanting to do as much as I can now, so I'm not really panicking that much over the later part of the year.

And yeah, that about does it for this issue of KMN, I'll probably do an update news article every 2 weeks, or if something big comes up. Stay tuned for more art from me, i'm really looking forward to continue doing what I love. See ya :)
